Apriti cielo is an Italian saying. Apriti - Open and Cielo - Sky.
It is an exclamation that is used to express one’s surprise in front of an event.
At the same time, the literal pun adds to the exclamation of amazement the image of a sky that is opened. From that, the representation of a window in the sky reveals at the core of the work, holding a deeper sugge- stion to dive into another dimension.

Apriti cielo is an invitation to look beyond; a look towards the unknown, towards the outside, in the di- rection of what it’s sought and a look from the outside towards the inside, a look that thus becomes intro- spective too. In this work, the viewer has the possibility of being inside, imagining that he is in his own home and looking at the sky through a window, or of seeing from the outside a window that opens on reality.

At the center of the work is the window that is reflected into the sky. An opening that takes you into a further dimension. Apriti cielo is a celebration of the power of imagination, a journey that invites the observer to investigate beyond the window and beyond the sky.
What is there after the sky?
