This soft and inviting work is the first in a series of abstractions. Walkowitz utilises innovative drawing techniques, the side of the pencil becomes a valuable tool in creating a blurred effect and framing a sequence of curved lines and geometric shapes. These linear forms are rhythmically arranged in the clearing within the composition. There is a tactile and comforting nature to the piece, creating a calm and uplifting mood.
