This soft and inviting work is the second in a series of abstractions by Walkowitz. Containing a central sequence of wavey lines and a singular circle, it evokes a feelings of joy in its simple yet tactile composition. The artist uses the side of his pencil to creating a blurred effect which frame the lines and shapes within an area of consistent textural noise. He applies pressure to the central line, adding a darker area of contrast.
